1 John 4:9 KJV
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

February. The month of Love. Since time immemorial, there was always something special about it. Romance is in the air, and debonair men spoil their beloved women with flowers, sweet love letters, chocolates, and out of this world surprises. It’s always been a wonderful sight for me when I see men doing sweet and kind gestures to women. It seems like reminiscing the past when everything was done in a classic, old-fashioned way.
However, one question pops out: How do we give Love?
God is the author of Love because He is Love Himself. He is the ultimate reservoir when we are somehow depleted of Love. Giving this gift to someone is not something we can do on our own. We have to receive God’s love before even thinking of giving it away. Without it, our “i love you’s” will be half-hearted, our hugs insincere.
Let us come boldly to God,asking Him to fill our cup with His Love until it overflows from our lives. We have to live Love before we can give Love.
