Luke 5:3 KJV
And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Each of us has a “ship” of our own. It can be the office we go to, the canvass we paint on, the business we manage, the friends we dine with every other weekend- these and everything else are what basically make up our life.
We may be the sailor of each of our ships, but Christ is the Captain. All ships, whether big or small, belong to Him. He can take claim over each of our lives and He doesn’t need to request the use of it. When He wants to use us for His purpose, He simply boards our ship and begins to steer us according to His directions.
Christ shoulder-taps us and reminds:
“You drive my truck. “
“You work on my job site. “
“You serve my hospital wing. “
To us all, Jesus says, “Your work is my work. “ -Max Lucado
