Psalm 105:2 KJV
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Have you ever stopped to wonder if you were giving God due credit and praise for all that He has done for you? Sometimes when I am praying, I cannot help but undermine my worthiness of Him. It always feels like that for me every time I talk to Him. I know in my heart that I am in no position to even call Him “Abba, Father”. But the best part is, despite our unworthiness, He still considers us as His children when we have accepted Jesus Christ in our hearts.
God is always near to us. He is our encourager when we are doubtful of our capabilities. He is our comforter when we are troubled. He is our Father when we need discipline and correction. “He would die for your sin before he’d let you die in your sin, so He did.”-Max Lucado
What a Savior we have and yet sometimes we do not as much give Him the respect and glory and honor He deserves. We take for granted His goodness more often than not that sometimes He’s is forced to decide to strip us away.
Let us worship God. Let us worship Him in spirit and in truth. Let our applauds be loud and often. Let us bow our spirits in humble devotion and reverence of His glory.
I pray that as we realize how important God thinks we are, we should lift Him up higher through our talents, our work, and our families.
