Have you ever experienced doing paperworks while answering phonecalls while talking to a client while configuring a problem in your software while replying to emails? Not to mention making amends with a boyfriend who waited almost an hour for me to finish because our system went offline the whole day. Today I did almost all of these.
I felt like a robot. This is probably one of the most exhausting days of my entire life. Stressed, is definitely an understatement.
But, you know what God thinks about all of these tiring circumstances?
They mean to show His strengths in our weaknesses. Let me share with you some wonderful verses I’ve learned from God’s word that will encourage your soul:
1.) 1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
There is no problem without a solution, no sadness without comfort, and no failure without Victory in the Lord. Trust His work, do your best. That’s all that matters.
2. Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
When all the wrong things seem to be juggling their way inside your life, try to look at them at God’s vantage point. Then you will see how He works in mysterious ways indeed.
3. James 1:2-3 KJV
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this , that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Patience is truly a virtue, and it is the fruit of our endurance in Christ.
4. James 1:5 KJV
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
What assurance the Bible provides if only we have the willingness to thoroughly learn its words!
5. 1 Chronicles 4:10 KJV
And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
Our prayers never go unanswered. Let us ask God to give us enough strength and courage in our day to day tasks.
6. Philippians 4:6-7 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
These are one of my favorite verses in the Bible. In everything, God is interested in our daily lives. That is why He wants us to talk to Him in prayer. Prayer is free. It has unlimited connection and we have unlimited access to our Heavenly Father.
If you feel like the whole world is just bearing heavily on your shoulders, always remember, you are too blessed to be stressed!
